Paulanne

Realtor®. Amateur Silversmith. Unapologetic spider and snake enthusiast.

Paulanne came back to real estate in 2016 after a 17-year detour that took her from a car lot in Kingston to a sun-soaked coastline in Greece. For 11 of those years, she ran The Car Store (a used auto dealership) and The Car Spa (an auto detailing business), because apparently one business at a time was never enough work. The other six? Teaching English in Greece and volunteering with Nine Lives Greece TNR* program, colony feeding and adoption programs.

Solving the real estate puzzle, finding the perfect fit between people and place—that's what makes Paulanne jump out of bed each morning! You’ll also you'll find her teaching silversmithing at The Tett Centre with the Kingston Lapidary and Mineral Club, or elbow-deep in a wildlife rescue with Sandy Pines, ferrying anything from raccoons to geese that have been abandoned or injured to get the care needed.

After 10 great years working with a longtime friend and business partner at ReMax, a change of space, a change of leadership, and — let's be honest — a whole lot of really good people pulled her over to Century 21 Heritage Group. The sign out front changed. The work never did.

Home decisions come loaded—financially, emotionally, logistically. There’s a lot to be said for experience that brings the expertise to untangle the complex stuff and the patience to be a sounding board through the rest. You need to be a problem-solver and steady hand, from first showing to final signature.

“Every for-sale sign I've ever planted in a yard has a person's story behind it. That's why I do this — not for the sold sign, but for the people living inside the walls.”
